My Mother Joan Marotta

Joan was born on July 23, 1928 in Brooklyn New York to
Salvatore Marotta and Antoinette Veccia.

Joan married Emer Christie on Jul 14 1947 in Highland Park Michigan

They had 3 children all of which are still living

Joan made dolls for a living

Joan and her favorite singer Bobby Vinton
She was lucky enough to see him perform in Branson, Missouri



Joan died May 12, 1999 of an infection due to bed sores at the
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan
