Camnsel Benjamin "Lumpkin" Goodman was born on January 31, 1802, in North Carolina to Clarissa Lambert, age 22, and William Goodman, age 23. Camnsel Benjamin "Lumpkin" Goodman married Martha A McCarval in 1832 when he was 30 years old.
